How much is a skip?

The cost depends on the size of skip you choose and where you’re based, with larger skips priced higher than smaller ones. To make things easy, we’ve set out clear 2025 prices for our skip sizes, so you’ll know exactly what to expect before you book.

For roll-on roll-off containers (20, 25, 35 or 40 yards), please call us for a tailored price. These skips are designed for high-volume commercial or construction jobs.

What Affects the Cost of a Skip?

• Size: Larger skips cost more but may work out cheaper than hiring two smaller ones.
• Location: Prices vary slightly depending on whether you’re in Zone 1 or Zone 2.
• Type of Waste: Certain materials like plasterboard, mattresses or fridges carry surcharges.
• Hire Period: Standard hire is up to 2 weeks. After this, it’s £5 per day for extended use.
